To ensure optimal growth conditions for cell cultures inside the incubator, Kendrion's safe and reliable door locking technology prevents accidental opening of the door and avoids contamination or temperature fluctuations inside the incubator. Furthermore, Kendrion's valves and pressure regulators ensure optimal conditions for the cell cultures.

With a very high holding force of at least 1,600 N and shock resistance up to 100 g, Kendrion now offers a solenoid door lock focused on safety.

Safe and robust lock with high locking force

The compact KENDRION solenoid lock is very robust and compact, and due to the intelligent locking mechanism, it is capable of a very high duty cycle. With its small size, the solenoid lock has very high locking forces.
An integrated solenoid allows easy control and combines a quick release with quiet mechanical motion. The patented locking mechanism also allows the operator to unlock the doors when they are under load. An automatic emergency opening is available.

The electromagnetic door lock is available in two different versions:

  •     SL - self-locking
  •     AL - actively locked


In addition, a pre-locking function and an integrated microswitch for monitoring the position of the lock is optionally available.
