Kendrion’s Robotics Test Bench for Brakes reduces Time-to-Market
Robotics require especially compact brakes that are tailored to the situation and operate reliably over their entire service life. The life cycle is tested by Kendrion with a special robotic test bench, which means that customers no longer need to carry out their own simulations and/or testing, thus speeding up the time-to-market. The test bench is an important tool for the development department, which has been operating with twice the manpower, combined know-how, and synergistically on behalf of customers since Kendrion’s and INTORQ’s merger.

Kendrion establishes itself as a full-range supplier for AGVs
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are conquering more and more new areas thanks to innovative technologies and advancing automation. In order to guarantee safety here, electromagnetic brakes from Kendrion are often used, which have already proven themselves in numerous applications for good reason - after all, they always meet the individual requirements of the customers. To ensure this, Kendrion offers not only an extensive standard range, but also tailor-made solutions.
Kendrion INTORQ to use bin picking for rotor machining
Kendrion INTORQ GmbH is taking a new approach to automation: A new type of bin picking solution enables not only lower processing times in rotor machining but also maximum machining precision. Two permanent magnet brakes installed in the corresponding robots contribute to this high level of precision. The brakes are also made by Kendrion for good reason: only high-quality components guarantee optimal performance of the overall system.
