Discover the diverse possibilities of our industrial pressure regulators

Kendrion is a manufacturer of compact pressure regulators for use in medical technology and industrial environments. The portfolio includes various standard versions designed for non-aggressive media such as air, water, and CO2. The pressure regulators offer a high volume flow and high control accuracy in a small size.
The Kendrion pressure regulators use a fabric-reinforced membrane, which allows a sensitive adjustment of the pressure and guarantees high stability even with fluctuations in the inlet pressure. The robust design ensures reliable operation and a long service life.

Customized versions possible

The pressure regulators have a modular design so that the cover, housing, and seal materials can be matched to the application in a cost-optimized manner. On request, pressure regulators can be configured for media such as oxygen or drinking water.

NEW! The pressure regulator Pure flow for medical gases for biocompatible applications

The new pressure regulator Pure flow for medical gases has been specially developed to meet the high requirements for medical and analytical products. The pressure regulator can be designed to meet the requirements of both DIN ISO 18562 (biocompatibility for ventilation circuits) and DIN ISO 10993 (biocompatibility for medical products).

NEW: Pure flow pressure regulator for medical gases

The new Kendrion 'pure flow' pressure regulator is characterized by its reliable and precise pressure regulation and guarantees maximum reliability even in continuous operation or under harsh operating conditions.

As part of the new pure flow for life science series, Kendrion offers a pressure regulator that has been specially developed for use with medical gases.
The housing is made of PARA, a high-quality material that is known for its durability, longevity and biocompatibility.

The pressure regulator is designed to meet the requirements of the strict DIN Nom ISO 18562 and DIN ISO 10993 standards, which stand for the biological evaluation of medical products and the safety of materials in medical technology. This allows Kendrion to enable manufacturers of ventilators/anesthesia machines, incubators or oxygen concentrators, for example, to qualify these components much more quickly and cost-effectively and to integrate them into the respective application.

Kendrion has decades of experience in the field of pressure regulators and valves in medical and analysis technology.

Convincing design and optimized layout for your application

Benefit now from our know-how in the field of pressure regulators!

Our Kendrion pressure regulators are mechanical membrane pressure regulators that impress with their simple design and high control accuracy. These pressure regulators are the ideal choice for numerous applications in medical and analytical technology.

How a membrane pressure regulator works

A pressure regulator reduces and stabilizes a variable inlet pressure to a constant, lower outlet pressure. In our membrane pressure regulators, this control is achieved mechanically by means of a control bolt that variably limits the flow rate. This control bolt is connected to a spring-loaded membrane. The pretension of the membrane spring is adjusted using a rotary knob or screwdriver, which creates a counterforce to the force on the membrane generated by the inlet pressure. The control bolt ensures a pressure drop that achieves the output pressure determined by the counterforce. If the inlet pressure fluctuates, the resulting force on the diaphragm is adjusted, whereby the opening cross-section of the control bolt is changed accordingly. This ensures a constant outlet pressure.

Optimum design by our experts

For the correct design of a pressure regulator in specific applications, the required flow rate to the outlet pressure must be taken into account in addition to the inlet and outlet pressure. The maximum flow rate is determined by the opening cross-section and the balance of forces between the membrane preload and the inlet pressure. Our experts will take care of the optimum design and selection of the right pressure regulator for your individual requirements.
