Load securing with the bistable shuttle finger BSM043

The BSM043 bistable rotary solenoid is the ideal solution for securely positioning and fixing transport goods in automated shuttle systems in intralogistics. With a rotation angle of 90°, a switching time of just 8–30 ms and a bistable design, the BSM043 reliably secures transported goods in their end positions without requiring a holding current. This makes it ideal for battery-powered or capacitor-discharge applications, such as energy-efficient autonomous vehicles.

The shuttle finger can be fitted with an aluminium finger or another application-specific material. Thanks to its robust design, it can withstand high radial forces and offers a duty cycle of up to 100% for continuous operation. Optional position detection ensures precise control and monitoring.

Areas of application:

  • Overhead conveyors

  • Floor conveyors

  • Driverless transport systems (AGV)

  • Autonomous shuttle systems in high-bay warehouses
