Kendrion presents innovative automation solutions at automatica 2025 Kendrion is presenting an extensive product portfolio for industrial automation and robotics at automatica 2025. Visitors can experience the trade fair innovations in action at a live demonstrator: An innovative electromagnetic stopper for workpiece carriers and a shuttle finger for the safe storage and retrieval of goods. Other trade fair highlights include new electromagnetic end effector solutions for cobots and extremely reliable optical shutters.

Kendrion, an experienced manufacturer of control solutions with over 30 years of expertise in automation technology, device and machine construction, is introducing a new control combination: the FIO Controller 111 and the Vico 04 HMI. This perfectly coordinated control combination complements each other ideally and offers machine builders a practical solution that combines flexibility and user-friendliness.

From November 12 to 14, 2024, Kendrion will be presenting the latest solutions in control technology, electronics and embedded systems, as well as electromagnetic brakes for industrial automation, at the SPS in Nuremberg in Hall 4, Booth 381. The focus of the trade fair appearance will be on high-performance solutions and automation concepts that have been specially developed for the industrial sector. We are driving the transformation with customized braking solutions. The logistics industry is on the brink of transformation: the use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) is growing rapidly and is increasingly replacing traditional industrial trucks. AGVs offer numerous benefits, including enhanced efficiency, reduced operational costs, and a way to address labor shortages. We at Kendrion, with decades of engineering expertise in the field of brakes for industrial trucks, are actively supporting this change and assisting manufacturers in transitioning to AGVs with two specially developed, tailored product lines.

Following the recent launch of the Econo 328, Kendrion is now expanding its portfolio with the Econo 328 APP. Precise control for maximum safety While autonomous driving is still in the pilot phase in road traffic, it is already common practice in the field of industrial trucks. The example of US manufacturer Bastian Solutions shows how this trend is affecting the design of industrial trucks and, as a result, the brake design. We have equipped Bastian Solutions CB18 automated guided forklift (AGF) with customized spring-applied brakes, which are characterized, among other things, by a finely tuned braking torque within a narrow tolerance band.
