Holding magnet for holding or clamping ferromagnetic workpieces. The DC-excited coil achieves a holding force of up to 30,000 N when energized. When the supply voltage is switched off, the workpiece to be held falls off. The holding solenoid is maintenance-free and are characterized by a low operating current at high holding forces. The holding solenoid is available in different sizes in round, flat or square design.
