Inductive Surface Heating for Tools
Kendrion surface inductors are inductive heating elements designed for uniform heating of tool surfaces. They are used in applications such as food processing, packaging machinery, and the graphics industry, providing contactless and reproducible heating. The homogeneous energy input allows thinner tool walls, reducing thermal mass and increasing process dynamics. This helps lower energy consumption. Surface inductors are designed using numerical field simulation and are adapted to the geometric and thermal requirements of each application.
They are suitable for continuous operating temperatures up to 250 °C and do not require water cooling, reducing infrastructure costs while improving operational reliability.
