The FIO Controller CAN PLC FLECS combines a powerful CODESYS controller with the FLECS Automation Platform. The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 with Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A72 provides the computing performance required for demanding PLC, motion and robotics applications as well as additional software functions. CANopen, Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP enable the integration of additional field devices.
The controller can be directly and flexibly expanded with EtherCAT I/O modules from the FIO series via the side-mounted E-Bus. Additional decentralized EtherCAT devices are connected via EtherCAT OUT. The integrated FLECS platform enables additional automation apps to be deployed, installed and managed. This allows CODESYS applications to be flexibly extended with additional software functions.
