The Kuhnke FIO communication modules provide interfaces for all well-established field bus systems. The Kuhnke FIO CAN Master/Slave module offers a CAN interface as an EtherCAT CAN gateway. The higher protocols are realized by CODESYS (CANopen Master/Slave, etc.). In CODESYS 3 this module shows a CAN bus connection and further configurations can be added. A device description for CODESYS 3 that provides all necessary information is available. The device driver (CAN Mini Driver) is also required. The signal status of a channel is indicated by LEDs.
