With the new single or multi-touch capable Vico HMI operator terminal, it is now possible for any manufacturer or user to create simple visualisations independently of the PLC programme (i.e. the IEC 61131-3 project). Unlike the web terminal, no processor power or programme extension is required for the visualisation. The visualisation programme runs on the Vico HMI and can connect to several different CODESYS-compatible controllers simultaneously. The simultaneous connection to the various controllers is carried out via Ethernet, if required even with its own variable mapping. The development environment for the visualisation is part of the CODESYS Development System, so there are no additional costs or additional licences. All modern visualisation functions of CODESYS are supported. The displaying of process data of CODESYS V2.3 and CODESYS V3 controllers is very practical, especially for extensions or modernisations. The Vico HMI family comprises several devices with scalable processor and display technology in 4.3 to 10 inch sizes, and is also an excellent addition to existing machine concepts to create modern automation solutions that are available everywhere. They all have an industry-oriented device design and are available for long-term use.
