Locking Solenoids – Compact and Powerful Electromagnetic Locking Solutions
KENDRION is a manufacturer of electromagnetic locking units, which are used as powerful and space-saving units in many applications, for example for locking safety devices and industrial equipment.
Our powerful LLV Series locking solenoids are designed to withstand high lateral forces. The robust design includes a maintenance-free bearing for the solenoid plunger and locking bolt. Depending on the design, a wide range of requirements can be met, including special requirements for accident prevention regulations. Microswitches or Hall sensors can be integrated into the device to monitor function and provide feedback on bolt position.
In addition to the LLV solenoid, there are small, extremely space and energy saving designs. The LLB Latching Locking Solenoid is designed for locking in confined spaces and mobile applications. The emergency solenoid arrestor is used as an emergency stop in the event of a power failure, for example as a robot joint brake.
