Inductive Heating for Rotating Tools

Application and Process Benefit
Kendrion roller inductors generate uniform, contactless heating of rollers and cylinders. Roller inductors are used in plastics processing and in the textile industry. Uniform energy input reduces the required material thickness of heated rollers and lowers energy consumption.

Design and Technology
Kendrion uses numerical field calculation for the customer‑specific design of roller inductors. The design defines the temperature distribution and ensures stable operation.

Operating Data
Kendrion roller inductors reach process temperatures of up to 300 °C in continuous operation. Roller inductors operate without water cooling and reduce system complexity.
