The electromagnetic shaker coil OSR is used as a knocker, for example to compact bulk materials. Its magnetic system consists of two excitation windings and magnet halves connected by a permanent magnet, which provides constant pre-magnetization and attraction between magnet body and armature. When AC voltage is applied, the alternating magnetic field overlaps the permanent magnetic force, creating the desired vibration. The working mass is mounted flexibly by means of springs or vibration elements.
