Based on the CDR030 bistable rotary solenoid, Kendrion offers a bistable shutter in the field of optical safety technology, which enables de-energized holding in both end positions. The end positions are held by the built-in permanent magnets. This makes the shutter design very energy-saving. The CDR030 shutter is also characterized by its high reliability and long service life of 20 million switching cycles. In addition, the shutter has a typical closing time of 20 ms.
