The Regular Collection 6-pole half-wave rectifiers conduce to supply electromagnetic DC-brakes and clutches with half-wave rectified AC voltage. For DC-switching a spark suppressor is integrated via terminals 5 and 6. This significantly reduces the load on the DC-side switching contact and thereby improves its lifetime. The coil power is switched via the switching contact.
