The Regular Collection 6-pole bridge rectifiers conduce to supply electromagnetic DC-brakes and clutches with full-wave rectified AC voltage. For DC-switching a spark-suppressor is integrated via terminals 5 and 6. This significantly reduces the load on the DC-side switching contact and thus improves its service life. The coil power is switched via the switching contact.
