We make induction ready for industrial use

Inductive heating is rapidly gaining importance in food processing and food-related packaging systems. The technology enables reproducible temperatures and short response times while meeting high hygiene standards. We consistently apply this proven principle to food and packaging machinery: with scalable systems for inductive heating and industrial surface heating. They generate heat exactly where it is needed: during transport, in the heating plate, in the container, or in the roller. Energy consumption is up to 50 percent lower than with gas or oil heaters.

In food industry machinery and equipment, inductive heating technology can fully leverage its advantages throughout the entire process - particularly with regard to start-up and downtime. Our induction heating systems for the food sector provide emissionfree, energyeffcient heating of food and packaging machinery.

Short heating times enable a quick start to production, and minimal downtime results from the direct heat generation in the machine or system component being heated. As soon as the generator is switched off, no more heat is supplied. This simplifies tool changes through rapid cooling. At the same time, maintenance effort is drastically reduced, as oil changes, sealing work, or wear on slip rings are eliminated.

Precision you can taste

Optimal controllability is crucial for consistent product quality. We rely on direct temperature measurement within the component being heated, as well as a multi-zone configuration: This allows the heating process to be controlled precisely and reproducibly. This is relevant, among other things, for baking and contact baking, frying, roasting, as well as for the inductive heating of food processing machinery in the food packaging sector.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

Through direct heat generation within the component, the system achieves efficiencies of up to 98 percent. Heat losses through cables, as well as the heating of large masses of media or heating tunnels, which occur with other heating technologies, are eliminated.
For integration into machine concepts, We rely on microprocessor-controlled power electronics with fieldbus connectivity (Profinet®, CANopen, EtherCAT®). Comprehensive diagnostic and control functions support automated Industry 4.0-ready systems.
