For reliable control of the transport direction of goods in modern conveyor systems such as shoe sorter systems, the use of electromagnetic sorting switches is recommended. The diverters can be controlled quickly and precisely and replace pneumatic solutions. With the bistable rotary solenoids of the PDM series, Kendrion has developed a new rotary solenoid concept to combine high torque, short switching times and sophisticated end position damping. The PDM050, as the heart of the diverter, switches in just 25 milliseconds to enable fast and reliable sorting of materials.

The electromagnetic shuttle finger for transfer systems provides safe material handling in automated warehouse systems. The BSM043 bistable rotary solenoid is the optimal solution for modern warehouses where shuttles move materials quickly and efficiently. Its 90° rotation angle, combined with an aluminum finger (or other material), facilitates safe storage, retrieval and transport of goods. The solenoid keeps its end positions de-energized and is ideal for battery-powered or capacitor-discharged solutions, such as AGVs.
