New modular PLC systems with CODESYS control at SPS 2023

The FIO series from Kendrion has been specially developed to meet the specific requirements of automation technology. Thanks to their compact size, they offer maximum performance in the smallest of spaces. These controllers are based on the powerful CODESYS standard and are characterized by a wide range of communication interfaces and customizable software packages that can be seamlessly integrated into existing development environments.

Kuhnke FIO Controller 111 with integrated I/O
The ARM-based FIO Controller 111 is programmed with CODESYS V3 and offers integrated analog I/Os as well as motion functionality. The compact PLC has a wide range of communication interfaces, including Industrial Ethernet, CAN, RS485 and OPC UA. A µSD card enables the local storage of process data and the exchange of control programs. The new FIO Controller 111 is used in mechanical engineering, power generation, equipment manufacturing, testing equipment, cleaning systems and special machine construction.

Kuhnke FIO Controller 116 with many expansion options
The FIO Controller 116 is based on i.MX6 and offers a wide range of communication interfaces (LAN, USB, CAN, RS-232, EtherCAT E-bus) and fieldbus interfaces (EtherCAT, CANopen, Modbus RTU, TCP). Intelligent software packages such as CODESYS Softmotion light, CODESYS SoftMotion CNC+Robotics, Modbus TCP, OPC UA Server and WebVisu can be added. The CODESYS controller offers a wide range of possibilities and is suitable for a wide range of automation applications.
