3T Electronics & Embedded Systems, a leading Netherlands-based company and part of the Kendrion Group, is excited to announce the successful launch of its newest location in Drachten. The doors were officially opened on April 11, 2024, marking a significant milestone in 3T's journey of expansion and innovation.

The new office complex, situated in Kantorenpark Drachten, will serve as a pivotal hub for fostering innovation and collaboration, particularly for students and professionals aspiring to excel in the electronics and embedded systems industry.

Michiel Bloemen, CEO of 3T, expressed gratitude to all attendees, emphasizing the role of forward-thinking companies like 3T in fostering the region's high-tech landscape. Aiming to fill the void for tech jobs in the region and retain local talent, 3T plans to start small and gradually expand its team in Drachten, providing opportunities for growth and innovation in the northern Netherlands.

Robert Lewin, Managing Director of Industrial Actuators & Controls, and Laurens Tromp, Location Manager of Drachten, marked the official inauguration of the new office with a symbolic ribbon-cutting. The opening was attended by representatives of the municipality, local high-tech companies, the Innovatie Cluster Drachten, universities and employees of 3T and Kendrion. 3T engineers showcased their expertise in Model-Driven Development, Power & Motion Control and FPGA Design along with other innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies.

Drachten, situated in the heart of a burgeoning high-tech ecosystem, offers a fertile ground for collaboration, research, and development. With its robust infrastructure, skilled workforce, and supportive community, Drachten stands as a beacon of progress and potential in the field of technology.

Michiel Bloemen commented, “The excitement generated this day shows the local interest in 3T, our technology, and engineering. We’re off to a good start and expect to grow quickly in the region.”

The new Drachten location holds particular appeal for students seeking opportunities to advance their careers in an innovative and dynamic environment. For more information about 3T Electronics & Embedded Systems and career opportunities, please visit kendrion.com/3t.
