More security for vending machines

Even after opening hours, vending machines can supply customers, employees, or passers-by with food and non-food items. Since the vending machines are operated 24/7 and without personnel, they must be particularly secured against manipulation, vandalism, and burglary.

A reliable door lock offers high security.

It is precisely for this problem that the safe and reliable solenoid lock from Kendrion is used to lock the vending machine door with a high max. static locking force of 1,600N. The heart of the door lock is an integrated linear solenoid, which can be easily controlled and enables fast unlocking for the exchange of goods. The overall system achieves a long service life (100,000 cycles) and integrates various functions such as an emergency release and microswitches to detect the locking position.
