Optical Laser Shutter D2 from Kendrion are high performance laser shutter with various shapes, dimensions, materials and coatings of blade.

The shutter D23 laser, which is designed for continuous operation, blocks the laser beam with its optical paddle and a switching time of approx. 30 ms during operation and in pauses to protect the laser.

Based on our rotary solenoids D2, Kendrion offers a wide range of highly reliable optical shutters that are designed to block light and laser beams for safety purpose. With at least 10 million switching cycles, it is designed for reliable continuous operation.

In addition, the integrated photocells enable us to detect the switching position. The bouncing effect is optimized by using an integrated damping mechanism.

KENDRION uses CODESYS, a software platform for many tasks in automation technology. The basis is the standard IEC 61131-3 programming system. Additional instruments, tools and tailored functions simplify software engineering in mechanical and apparatus engineering with CODESYS and provide new approaches to solutions.

The bistable solenoid BI034 locks the flap position and unlocks it precisely with an end force of 45N just as quickly after the task has been successfully completed.

The Kendrion pin brake stops the AGV immediately in the event of a power loss, caused for example by a short circuit or battery failure, by mechanically blocking the wheels.

When an object or a person enters the permanently monitored AGV warning field, its speed can be safely limited or stopped with safety functions such as STO, SS1, SLS.

Highly maneuverable AGV are optimally controlled with Kendrion’s compact EtherCAT Drive Control for servo or stepper motors.

Stepper control raises and lowers the flap. Kendrion’s Stepper Control for 3 Stepper motors is optimally suited for various independent motion applications.

The compact and easy to install motor brake ensures safety in case of power-loss and holds even high loads in position.
