Our Elevation Line

The Elevation Line has been specially designed for elevator technology and includes electromagnetic spring-applied brakes in different versions. The brake systems meet all safety requirements according to EN 81 and offer special solutions for different drive concepts.

Elevation brakes from Kendrion are characterised by a compact design and a constant braking torque. Therefore the brake systems are suitable for elevator machines with gears or for gearless drive systems and offer the ideal solution for both rope and belt systems.

The built-in microswitches allow remote monitoring of the switching status of the brake. All versions are equipped with a manual release for manual operation of the brake in the event of an elevator system failure.
