Electro Holding Magnets

KENDRION is a manufacturer of industrial electro holding magnets and offers the largest portfolio on the market. Electromagnetic holding magnets are used in many different areas, for example in the automation, transport, and handling industries. Depending on requirements, the electromagnets are available in round, flat, or rod shapes. The holding forces range from 36 to 30,000 N. Our holding force-optimized designs are used for applications in tool and machine construction where no air gap adjustments are necessary. These offer a significant holding force advantage with the same size.

We offer the following series in our standard range:

GTB series: Standard electromagnets in round design ►15 - 250 mm diameter | Holding force: 36 - 30,000 N

Series GTH: Holding force-optimized electromagnets in round design ► 15 - 100 mm diameter, holding force: 45 - 4,890 N

Series 10 331: Electromagnets in round, very flat design ► Diameters 56, 110 and 170 mm; holding force: 750 - 5,000 N

Series: 10 310: Electromagnetic holding bars ► up to a length of 600 mm and a width of 60 mm

The electro holding magnets consist of a magnet housing and a DC coil. When switched on, the open magnetic circuit enables ferromagnetic workpieces to be held in place. When the supply voltage is switched off, the workpiece to be held falls away. These holding systems operate with a very low operating current and are maintenance-free.
