Kendrion ECONO Edge Controllers provide an open, industrial-grade platform for edge computing, gateway and automation applications in machine and plant engineering. The devices combine a standardized hardware platform with an open Linux architecture, enabling local data processing and communication between machine, OT and IT networks.
Depending on the variant, customer-specific software solutions can be implemented directly on the open platform, or industrial applications can be deployed and managed via the FLECS Automation Platform. Variants with additional Ethernet interfaces also enable the separation of different machine and higher-level networks. This allows the ECONO platform to be flexibly adapted to different machine concepts and software requirements.
