Compact Control Systems
The compact control systems from Kendrion support EtherCAT® and other industrial fieldbus systems. The control systems enable deterministic real-time communication with drive controllers and I/O modules. The devices meet the requirements of classical PLC automation. The devices are programmed using the CODESYS Development System V3 and, depending on the variant, also support Softmotion or Softmotion+CNC Robotics applications.
Edge Controllers and IT/OT Connectivity
Kendrion Edge Controllers complement the control systems at the edge level. The Edge Controllers perform tasks related to local data processing and protocol coupling between OT and IT systems. The Edge Controllers enable the execution of container-based applications close to the machine.
