Kendrion Automotive (Sibiu) SRL
In 1998 Kuhnke Production Romania was founded. Today it operates under the name Kendrion Automotive (Sibiu) SRL parallel to Kendrion Industrial (Sibiu) SRL in the Kendrion concern.
The focus is on electro-magnetic and electronic components and systems in medium and large quantity for the automotive market.
Because of the optimized processes the fabrication of the products is very efficiently.
Besides of the manufacturing, a self-sufficient procurement, logistic and quality assurance department are implemented so that a holistic integration into the supply chain is realized.
Every process at Kendrion Automotive (Sibiu) SRL is certified according to ISO TS 16949:2009, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 and complies with the international quality standards.
A core element of the product portfolio is the magnetic engineering. An application example is the locking of a parking lock in an automatic transmission.
Also high specialised electronic control units are produced in Romania. These are used for the control of a BLDC-motor.
Additionally, systems to generate an interior and exterior sound belong to the product selection. These can be used for producing sound in electric- and hybrid vehicles and also for upgrading the quality of the sound of conventional motors.

The company focuses on the cost-effective production of electromechanic products. Besides production itself, the plant also handles its own procurement, logistics and quality control, resulting in a seamlessly integrated supply chain. All processes are certified according to ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008.
This production unit manufactures solenoids and other electromechanical products for automation markets and aerospace industry. The manufacturing processes focus on coil winding and assembly of complex solenoids and solenoid applications.
The manufacturing system includes both manual and partly automated processes. A seamless supply chain is provided by the geographic closeness to suppliers, which are integrated into automation production processes.
