EtherCAT I/O Systems

Kuhnke FIO is a system of I/O modules for connecting process signals in an EtherCAT network. It consists of a bus coupler or controller with various I/O modules. The EtherCAT bus coupler or the controller handles signal processing and generates the system voltages for the I/O modules. The EtherCAT protocol is used between the I/O modules. At the end of the modular device, the connection of the outgoing and return lines is automatically closed or forwarded to the next EtherCAT node with the help of an extender. Modern industry-standard interfaces enable the connection to higher-level controllers as well as the connection of field bus devices. 
The Kuhnke FIO controller can be individually expanded with modules from the Kuhnke FIO I/O system and programmed with CODESYS V3. In addition, you can easily integrate the highest level of machine safety in the form of the Safety I/O module. The Safety I/O modules have 4 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs and can be integrated into any EtherCAT network.
