Specifications & Technical Details
|Specification||from - to|
|Supply voltage [V]||24 / 205 V DC|
|Duty cycle [%]||5 / 25 / 40 / 100|
|Stroke [mm]||1 - 30 In all solenoid models the solenoid stroke is the line “s” the armature has travelled from stroke starting position to stroke end position. The stroke starting position is the original position of the armature before the stroke movement starts resp. after the reset is finished. The stroke end position is determined by the solenoid design – it is the position the armature takes due to electromagnetic force.|
|Force [N]||0.5 - 550 The magnetic forces indicated are reached at 90% of the nominal voltage and in warmed-up condition.|
|Protection class device (IP)||IP00 / IP40|
|Protection class connection (IP)||IP00 / IP65|
|Installation type||Lateral or on front side by threaded holes|
|Pull-in time [ms]||17 - 450 The values for the switching times refer to nominal voltage, warmed-up condition and a load with 70% of the magnetic force of the device.|
|Release time [ms]||15 - 81|
|Accessories||Female connector with/without rectifier
Plug connector with overexcitation (nominal voltage max. 48W)
Frame Solenoids from Kendrion are universal and cost-efficient actuating solenoids and therefore ideally suited for use in precision mechanical and industrial applications.These solenoids are used in the transportation industry as well as in automation and conveyor technology. They excel by individual mounting options, their maintenance-free armature bearing and last but not least by their compact design.
The mode of operation of the solenoid is based on the force exerted on ferromagnetic bodies in the magnetic field. Electromagnets transform electric energy into mechanical energy. Basically the stroke movement takes place from the stroke starting position to the stroke end position (active direction of movement), while the armature reset is accomplished by external forces, e.g. by spring, weight or magnetic forces (passive direction of movement). The solenoids can be installed in any position, but the force transfer should be in axial direction only.
The products are manufactured and tested according to DIN VDE 0580/07.2000.
Design subject to change.
The solenoids presented here are both standard products and special designs. Please ask for minimum order quantities and delivery times. Different voltages are possible.
