Electro holding magnets of the Kendrion Industrial Line include all electromagnetic holding systems which are circular, flat or rectangular.
The magnets consist of a magnet housing and a DC-excited coil. The magnetic circuit which is open in switched-on state allows for holding ferromagnetic workpieces. If the supply voltage is switched off the workpiece to be held falls off. These holding systems always work with very low operating current and are maintenance-free.
Kendrion is the manufacturer with the largest product range of industrial (electro) holding magnets. We do not only have round and rectangular magnets but also holding force-optimized models exerting a significantly higher holding force at the same size. In our standard portfolio we offer the following series:
Series GT-Varioline: Electro holding magnets for customer specific requirements.
Series GTB: standard (electro) holding magnets in round design with diameters of 15 – 250mm.
Series GTH: holding force-optimized (electro) holding magnets in round design with diameters of 15 – 100mm.
Series 10 331: (electro) holding magnets in round, very flat design with diameters of 56, 110 and 170mm
Series 10 310: rectangular (electro) holding magnets up to a length of 600mm and a width of 60 mm
The solenoids achieve the maximum holding force possible if the armature plate rests directly and to full extent on the surface. The holding forces reach from 36 to 30,000 N
All products are manufactured and tested according to DIN VDE 0580.
