The electromagnetic locking unit was especially designed for the use in protective devices of all kinds of machines and automation plants. Special emphasis has been put on compact design, universal mounting options and integrated feedback of the locking function.
Depending on the requirement two types of solenoids are available.
1. Devices unlocked without voltage in which the reset of the locking pin is achieved by a spring.
2. Devices locked without voltage in which the reset of the locking pin is achieved by electromagnetic force.
Solenoid armatures and locking pins are led separately in maintenance-free bearings. The locking bolt is manufactured out of non-corrosive and non-magnetic stainless steel.
The micro-switch directly integrated into the pin housing signals the respective position of the locking pin at appr. 0.5 mm to 1 mm after leaving the the stroke starting position resp. before reaching the stroke end position.
Basically the stroke movement takes place from the stroke starting position to the stroke end position (active direction of movement), while the armature reset is accomplished by an integrated spring force (passive direction of movement).
All products are manufactured and tested according to DIN VDE 0580/07.2000.
