Looking for a rotating solenoid with higher torque outputs requiring less space? Kendrion’s Rectangular Rotary Solenoids on average have a higher output with less space requirements compared to their cylindrical counterparts, with their initial torque ranging from 0.2 Ncm to 480 Ncm. They can be recognized by their square cross sections with side lengths ranging from 35 mm to 100 mm as 4 different sizes. In a single acting rotary solenoid the initial rotary motion is activated through the energization of the solenoid while the return motion is accomplished by other means, a return spring for example. The pivotal movements for the Rectangular Rotary Solenoids can range from 25° to 95°. They can be used for both left-hand and right-hand rotation. There are many different applications including in sorting mechanisms, counting devices, and throttle valves. In addition to these applications they are also well suited for transportation applications and machine building.
