In 1947 the engineer Franz Schmachtl founded a distribution company with the emphasis on electrical and mechanical engineering in Linz. The general agency of the company Binder Magnete was taken over in 1961. 20 years later Binder and Schmachtl agreed on founding a joint subsidiary. In Austria miniature solenoids and systems solutions for numerous customer-specific applications are developed.
