Piet Veenema - President & Chief Executive Officer

Piet Veenema (53) is president and CEO of Kendrion N.V. He studied law at the VU Amsterdam and business economics at TU Delft.  He has been at Kendrion since 1993, when he started as COO for Kendrion's industrial supply activities. Mr Veenema was appointed vice-chairman and member of the official Executive Board under the Articles of Association of Kendrion in 1999. He was appointed CEO on 7 May 2003. Previously, Veenema was a partner in Krekel van der Woerd Management Consultants in Rotterdam, where he was active in a range of sectors. 

Eiko Ris - Chief Financial Officer

Eiko Ris (1958) was appointed as CFO of Kendrion N.V. on 2 April 2004. He holds a degree in accountancy from the Netherlands Institute for Registered Accountants. He has worked at Kendrion since August 2001. Before being appointed as CFO, he was Group Finance Director. Previously, Ris was an auditor (in various sectors) for KPMG in Amsterdam, and was Financial & IT executive for Heijmans Infrastructuur en Milieu, a division of Heijmans N.V.

Heinz Freitag - Chief Operating Officer

Heinz Freitag (1949) is COO of Kendrion as per 1 January 2009. Before this period he has been Division Director of Kendrion Electromagnetic. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Konstanz in Germany. He was Production Manager at Binder Magnete GmbH (acquired by Kendrion in 1997) from 1979 to 1984. After a period as Production Manager at Grässlin from 1984 to 1989, he then returned to Binder Magnete GmbH, where he became Managing Director in 1991.
