In 2009 Kendrion installed an Innovation Board currently comprised of seven external experts from various disciplines and countries. The role and goals of the Innovation Board are:
Mrs Dr. Marian Dingena
Marian Dingena is founder and Managing Director of the Marketing Planning Centre, the Netherlands. She is associate faculty at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, the Netherlands. She is also visiting faculty at European Business Schools. Dr. Dingena is expert in the field of business-to-business marketing, marketing planning and business planning, sales, key account management and change management. She has published a large number of articles and various books.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Prof. h.c. Eberhard Kallenbach
Eberhard Kallenbach is Managing Director of Steinbeis-Transferzentrum Mechatronik Ilmenau, Germany. He is working (in the field of mechatronics) at the University of Ilmenau, Germany. He is also a member of the German Academy of Technical Sciences (Acatech). Prof. Kallenbach is scientific coach (66 PhD's, 7 habilitations and 1 MSc). He is also lecturing in the areas of electromagnetic drive technology, calculation of magnetic fields and circuits, mechatronic design of electromagnetic drive elements, microactuators and mechatronics. He has done many publications and presentations and has also published many scientific reports (three books about electromagnetic actuators).
Prof. Waldemar A. Pförtsch
Waldemar Pförtsch is associate Professor business marketing at the China Europe International Business School, Shanghai, China. He is also Prof. international business at the University of Applied Science, Germany. Mr Pförtsch is visiting lecturer international management at the University of Illinois, Chicago, United States and visiting Professor business marketing at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He is also scientific advisor of the Institute for Social Marketing, Stuttgart, Germany and member of the Marketing Advisory Board of BT Global Services. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the World Journal of Marketing Management as well as member of the Association for Industrial Research Cologne, Germany. Prof. Pförtsch received the Research Award in 2007.
Dr.-Ing. Tom Ströhla
Tom Ströhla is researcher at the department of Mechatronics at the Ilmenau University of Technology. Lecturing areas are magnetic fields, electrical actuators and drives as well as pneumatic and hydraulic systems. He is involved in the development of SESAM (a software for designing solenoids), of MAGHYST (measurement system for magnetic materials and systems) and is co-author of the book ‘Elektromagnete’ and further books on electromagnetic fields. Additionally, he gives expert seminars for the VDI Wissensforum and is consultant of the company Steinbeis Mechatronik GmbH.
Jörg Wallaschek is Director of the Institute of Dynamics and Vibration Research at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. He has over 25 years of professional research experience in the field of mechatronics, dynamics and vibration in both academia and industry. His research is focussed on dynamics of rotating machinery, piezoelectric systems and ultrasonic engineering, and he has contributed to the continuous development of ultrasonic vibration motors. During his academic career Jörg Wallaschek has supervised more than 40 successfully completed PhD projects. He has authored more than 150 scientific publications, including textbooks and contributed chapters on sensors and actuators, modelling of electromechanical systems and energy harvesting technologies. Jörg Wallaschek teaches courses on engineering mechanics and structural dynamics at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany and gives expert seminars on vibration technologies at Haus der Technik and VDI-Wissensforum. He is member of editorial boards of scientific journals (including Archive of Applied Mechanics and International Journal of Vibroengineering) and steering committees of international conferences. He is also member of the expert panel on Schwingungstechnik (vibration technologies) of VDI and DIN and serves as reviewer for public organisations and consultant for small, medium and large enterprises.
Prof. Dr. Burkard Wördenweber
Burkard Wördenweber is Managing Director of Phasix Gesellschaft für Innovation mbH, Lippstadt, Germany. He is Honary Professor at the Paderborn University, Germany. He is also consultant in innovation management. Prof. Wördenweber is author of several books on innovation management, human vision and lighting.
Prof. Han T.M. van der Zee
Han van der Zee is Professor business transformation & IT at the Tilburg University, the Netherlands. He is also partner at Atos Consulting & Director Atos Consulting Trends Institute, Utrecht, the Netherlands as well as member of the Board of Directors of the Central Agency for Statistic, The Hague, the Netherlands. Prof. Van der Zee is primarily focused on business strategy, organisational development, and IT strategy and management. He is (co)author of many books and articles and speaks regularly at public conferences.
